Egg Recipient or Egg Donor, WE CAN HELP!

Egg Donation

We provide legal services necessary to protect the rights of all parties to the egg donation process.   An egg donor may be used where an Intended Mother is able to carry a child but is unable to use her own eggs. An egg donor may also be used in connection with gestational surrogacy.

In Florida, an egg donor relinquishes all rights and obligations with respect to the donated eggs or the resulting children. Florida permits only reasonable compensation directly related to the donation of eggs to be paid to the egg donor.

We provide the following services to all clients by:

  • Preparing or Reviewing the Egg Donation Agreement depending upon who we are representing
  • Advising our clients as to their rights, responsibilities and obligations under the Egg Donation Agreement
  • Preparing letters of release for the agencies and physicians involved in the egg donation process
  • Providing all other related legal services and legal representation that may be needed to help you establish your legal rights to your child.

Embryo Donation

In some instances, couples going through In Vitro Fertilization have excess embryos created that they are not able to use for themselves. These embryos usually have been frozen and will either be kept in that frozen state sometimes indefinitely, or destroyed. Some couples, with the knowledge that there are many couples unable to conceive a child, choose to donate these “excess embryos” to another couple.

In Florida, the donor of any embryo relinquishes all maternal or paternal rights and obligations with respect to the donated embryos or the resulting children. Florida permits only reasonable compensation directly related to the donation of embryos to be paid to the donor.

We provide the following services to all clients by:

  • Preparing or Reviewing the Embryo Donation Agreement depending upon who we are representing
  • Advising our clients as to their rights, responsibilities and obligations under the Embryo Donation Agreement
  • Preparing letters of release, if necessary, for the physicians involved in the embryo donation process
  • Providing all other related legal services and legal representation that may be needed to help you establish your legal rights to your child.
